Sandringham House is not to be missed the Royal Family’s country retreat. You can easily spend the day looking around the house, restaurant, shops, museum, country park and gardens excellent Children's play area which is free. Venturing out, you will discover pretty coastal villages and towns. The popular beach resort of Hunstanton is just 2 miles away or a 30 minute walk on the coastal path and is home to shops, tea rooms, restaurants, amusement arcades, a fun fair, pirate golf, Sea Life Centre and a Theatre.
Our favourite Seaside destinations are Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, and Cromer make sure you bring your crabbing nets to Cromer! Here you can find the various shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, boat trips and boats to hire
In land our favourite places to visit are Holt, Brancaster and Burnham Market all lovely with plenty of shops, renowned eateries and shops, walks and things to do.

Here in Norfolk we are described as the Bird Watching capital of Britian, are cottage is very well located between two RSPB Reserves RSPB Snettisham & RSPB Titchwell Marsh.
RSPB reserves at Snettisham, 7 min. drive and Titchwell, 15min. drive, are popular destinations for anyone interested in birds and nature.

Norfolk Broads - Wroxham We hired a boat for the day at Richardson of Wroxham, (we deliberately chose a boat with a toilet!) highly recommend it.
